**Member coach must complete form for each applicant.** 

Those interested in trying out for the 2024 All-State Team should follow submission guidelines listed.  Please see the CHEER or DANCE section for more information on what skills should be presented in All State Routines and the sport specific guides.

• All State tryouts are open to all athletes of school programs who hold current WACPC membership. Athletes must be presently enrolled in grades 9-12 and are members of their current school team.

• Athletes trying out for both cheer and dance all state: the school must have both a cheer and a dance team with coaches registered as such with WACPC or the school acknowledges that the team is a combination of cheer/dance and the coach must be registered with WACPC as a combo member. Schools with both cheer and dance programs - athlete would need to be registered via their rostered team and their registered coach. (ex. Dance athlete could not register under the cheer team/coach and Cheer athlete could not register under dance team/coach.)

• There is a $25/per athlete fee due with registration.

• The performance must follow National Federation Rules for Spirit Groups.

• Candidates are asked to appear in a performance costume/team uniform. All costumes, uniforms, footwear and hair accessories must follow all National Federation Rules.

• Please be sure to read ALL of the All-State information carefully. Not following the registration procedure or omitting information will result in disqualification.

• If your team is NOT participating in any of the WACPC Cheer or Dance High School Championships, your coach or adult supervisor MUST submit an original completed team liability form with your registration.

• Cheer and Dance All-State will have different procedures for 2024. Please see the information listed under each sport for All-State.

Participants will NOT​ receive their score sheets, individual scores or a score listing of all the participants. Participants may receive judges’ feedback.

DANCE ALL STATE DEADLINES: Please note, the preliminary round for All- State Dance tryouts will be by video submission only. The Final round will be performed live at WACPC State Dance Championships at the LaCrosse Center, LaCrosse, Wisconsin on February 2-3, 2024.

CHEER ALL STATE DEADLINES:  All-State for cheer will be by video submission only.  Team selections will be announced and recognized at the State Cheer Finals event at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, Appleton, Wisconsin on February 24, 2024.

Please review the following steps for virtual submission:

Step 1: Coach needs to login into or create their own YouTube account. 

Step 2: Upload individual routines to YouTube account.  Label each routine with the athlete (s) first & last name(s) & division.  Once the video is uploaded, go back and watch the video to verify that it plays correctly with music.  All videos must be set as public or unlisted. Please do not upload the video as private. EX: Sammy Smith, All State Tumbling OR Sarah Jones, Sammy Smith, Jane Johnson, Susie Brown, All Girl Stunt Group

Step 3: Access the Google form for the appropriate division

Step 4: Fill out the Google form for each registered entry. Paste the link for the YouTube routine in the appropriate box. 

Step 5: Submit the Google form for each registered entry.  If forms are submitted with more than one video link they will not be accepted. 

Step 6: Check email inbox to verify confirmation email & copy of the form response was received.  Review the form and click on the link in the submission to verify that the appropriate routine is submitted with the correct athlete(s). If confirmation email is not received, form submission was not successful. Please check the junk/spam mailbox to be certain a response was not received. If a confirmation email was not received please reach out to cheerallstate@wacpc.com or danceinfo@wacpc.com

Recording/Uploading Tips & Tricks: 

• It is best to record videos in mp4 or mov format.

• It is required to submit all videos on or before Jan 5th, 2024.

• Videos must be clearly labeled with the athlete's first and last name, along with division and school name (EX: SamJones_Division1_SweetValleyHS; or JohnDoe_NonTumble_SweetValleyHS). 
• Videos must be saved as MOV or MP4
• Videos must be taken in a quiet area with an appropriate background. (ex. a solid color wall).  For Cheer Athletes - voice must be clean and clear on the video. Spectators' voices should not cover the athlete's voice.
• Individual photographs must be clearly labeled with the athlete's first and last name, along with division and school name (EX: SamJones_Division1_SweetValleyHS; or JohnDoe_NonTumble_SweetValleyHS).
