Make sure all items are complete on the checklists posted.   A black X means it is completed.  When registration data is all received, the team name will be highlighted in green.   Please email rosters to registration@wacpc.com.  Anything not taken care of by the deadline will have a late fee (exception photo/roster if approved by registration).

Dance Registration Update

The registration process has been updated for WACPC events by the Dance Committee.

Coaches are required to provide a roster of names, DOB, and grade levels, just as some All Star events. We are using the ages to divide divisions if necessary at the elementary and Middle/Jr High/Rec divisions. Crossovers are not allowed.  Coaches are not required to have birth certificates with them, however, if there is a question brought forward the coach would need to provide a copy of the athlete's birth certificate

Secondly, coaches are being asked to verify that their routines has not been competed by another team prior to the season.  This is part of the online registration process not a separate sheet this year.  

Team registration is completed when online registration is done, fees are paid, coach membership and rules presentation review (see education, rules interpretation page) is completed and parent email list is provided  for Empire for pictures, a team picture is sent and  roster is completed.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

  • All paperwork must be postmarked on time or a $100 late fee will be added.  Payments postmarked over two weeks after original postmark due date will have a late fee of $200.
  • Online registration form not completed on time will have a $100 fee to reopen form link and any other applicable late fees.
  • Registrations must be completely finished to be put into line-ups, dates listed under individual competition pages.

REGISTRATION KEY POINTS

*All State Entries will have a $25 fee per athlete this year.

*Student names do not need to be entered separately.  You will be asked to upload a roster or to email a roster in.

*Team liability forms are either completed when filling out team registration form or can be emailed if stunt group/All State only.

*Coach family members under 18 can be rostered this year in order to stay with parent in team only areas.  There is a fee same as student but this is equal to admission fees for regional and state combined and will still give your child access to stay with you in team only areas.  

* Coaching Staff is limited by # of athletes on the team.  The system will enforce those limits.  All teams are allowed 3 (including head coach).  Teams with  26 to 32 athletes will be allowed 4, with a maximum of 5 coaches allowed for teams with 33 or more athletes.   

Registration steps to follow

Complete the following steps and email or mail required items by postmark due date:

1. Complete online registration form for your event.  (link to form above)

2. Submit tax exempt form if applicable.  CES form available from school business office.

3. Head Coach is responsible for watching district meeting videos including rules and regulations presentation within.  During the registration process coaches will acknowledge they are up to date and understand all WACPC and NFHS rules. 

4. Mail outstanding payments made payable to WACPC, Inc.  

Note: school checks are preferred if mailing checks.  Individual payments (for solos, etc) are not allowed.  Coaches must collect all payments and submit one remittance to WACPC.  

5. Upload or email team roster to registration@wacpc.com.

6. Upload or email jpeg of varsity teams only to photos@wacpc.com.

2022-23 COMPETITION FEES

  • Scholastic Dance $25 per athlete---Second Routine Fee $125

  • Scholastic Cheer $25 per athlete---Second Routine Fee $125

  • College Cheer $200 for first routine---Second Routine Fee $100 (Exhibition only $50)

  • Scholastic Stunt Group (All Girl & Coed) $40 per group

  • Varsity All State (including Mascots) $25 per athlete, coach must be a WACPC member

  • Dance Solos (JEM), Duets, Trios, & Ensembles/Small Groups $25 per athlete

VARSITY CHEER & DANCE TEAM PHOTOS

  • Photos may be uploaded during online form completion.

  • Photos should be emailed to photos@wacpc.com to be included in varsity state programs

  • Make sure to include the following information in the title line of your email: Team/Individual Name and Sport (Cheer or Dance)

  • Photos should be sent as an attachment in JPG format at "print" quality and should be AT LEAST 6"x4" in size.

  • Team photos must have a HORIZONTAL orientation

  • Leave appropriate surrounding white space and avoid cropping too tightly. Panoramic-style photos will cut-out teammates on the edges

  • Photographers, assistant coaches, athletes, or parents may submit photos, but make sure to include head coach's name with correspondence  

WACPC MUSIC APPROVAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

ONLY NEEDED IF YOU ARE QUESTIONING SOMETHING IN YOUR MUSIC.  THIS IS NOT NEEDED BUT RATHER A SERVICE IN CASE YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT LANGUAGE, ETC.

In order for the most accurate decision to be made regarding music, it is requested that:

  • a complete recording of the piece, as it will be used, be sent to music@wacpc.com 
  • a lyrics sheet also be sent with the music submission.(Often it is easier to make the determination if the entire piece can be analyzed rather than take parts out of context.)
  • the full name of the school is included on the submission.

Any submission which is incomplete will be returned without a decision and will need to be resubmitted.

The decision will be archived for use by rules judges. This process may require up to 10-14 days.
