2008 Scholarship Recipients
The Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches
Scholarship Committee would like to extend sincere
congratulations to the 2008 Cheer and Dance Scholarship
Recipients.
This is the 15th year WACPC was able to offer
this great opportunity to our young athletes in the area
of Cheerleading and Dance. There were eleven recipients
chosen out of 70 dance applicants and five recipients
chosen out of 28 cheerleading applicants.

Scholarships
The
Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches, Inc. is
proud to announce that we will be offering 16 individual
- $1,000 Scholarships to graduating seniors of the Class
of 2008, who are involved in Cheerleading and Dance
programs.
Criteria
for scholarship application:
1.
Team Coach
must be a current member of WACPC, Inc.
2.
Academic
Achievement
3.
Extracurricular Activities
4.
Graduating
Senior
5.
Cumulative
GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Other
information requested of each applicant:
1.
Completed
Application Form on the following pages, also available

Coach’s
letter of recommendation
3.
One other
letter of recommendation from one of the following:
Teacher/Administrator/Community Representative

Personal
Essay:
The essay for the scholarship
application should be about how
cheer/dance has affected your life
and how you will apply that
experience to you future. You may
also use this essay to discuss how
the scholarship would help you
financially.
