Welcome to WACPC, Inc.

Whether you are a veteran coach, a first-time coach, or stand somewhere in between, WACPC has something to offer you.  This year’s theme is “WACPC; Your Ticket to Success.”

What can you do to be successful as a coach?

1.         Get Informed

Attend one of the district/rule interpretation meetings in August.  Not only is this the way to stay current on National Federation Rules, but the district meeting allows you to network with other coaches in your area, talk to your district representatives, and get your opinions heard!

2.         Get Motivated

Come to our Fall Coaches & Captains Conference this year was at the Radisson Paper Valley & Conference Center in Appleton.  This year the conference was extended to Friday night to give coaches an extra chance to network through and introductory “mixer.”  During the weekend learn new techniques, ideas, and bring your captains so that you can all go back to your team energized and motivated to take on the season!

3.         Get Educated

Throughout the year, WACPC will be offering several different types of educational opportunities for coaches.  Rule interpretations, judge training, and various safety courses are offered to help you stay informed.

4.         Get Involved!

WACPC wants you!  WACPC has several different committees that are always looking for volunteers.  Does working on the Conference, All-State, Scholarship, or Competition Committee seem interesting to you?  Contact your district representative, or me, and we’ll be happy to tell you more about them.  Are you interested in joining the Board?  Elections will be held at the fall conference.  Submit a letter of intention and your biography to vice-president Julie Tellier for inclusion on the next election ballot.  Whether it’s running for a position on the Board or joining a committee, WACPC would love to have you.  The success of WACPC depends on the members and the volunteers who help in all endeavors.

No matter how you define success, we believe that we can help in some way or another.  Through educational opportunities or competition, we strive to provide you with opportunities to aid in your success.  We are so happy that you have joined WACPC.  Have a fantastic year!
