Guidelines for
All-State Application:
-
Athletes must be
presently enrolled in grades 9-12.
Four members per team.

Please be sure to
read ALL of the All-State information
carefully, as changes have been made to the
application. **Notes on the All-State application
are there to ensure that all candidates are kept on
a level playing field and are judged fairly on the
same skills. Not following the application
procedure or omitting sections from the application
will result in disqualification.

Please include a
wallet size head shot picture with your
All-State application for possible inclusion in the
State Program. On the back of your picture, please
write your name and school/gym.

Please be sure that
your All-State tape is a standard VHS and is
completely rewound and check your video to be
sure that is has recorded properly. Please
give a brief introduction of yourself. You are
welcome to send a DVD tryout. Please be sure that
your DVD can be played on a DVD player and does not
need a computer to be viewed, as computers are not
always available at the judging sites.

If you have more
than one team member applying, you may put all team
members’ tryouts on the same video. If you choose
to do so, please leave a brief space between
applicants and have them introduce themselves at the
beginning of their tryout.

Each All-State
candidate will be contacted by mail after the videos
have been judged no matter what the outcome. Please
make sure the address written on the application is
legible and complete, including zip
code.
